Delicious food with a good ambience

The partial lockdown also caught the Satluj and so you are currently not allowed to eat there despite the hygiene concept. The entire menu is available to take away. You order at the counter and the take-away package is ready in a few minutes. There is 10% if you collect it yourself. There is also a delivery service for orders of € 20 or more. The Indian delicacies are prepared in proven quality. But packed in plastic and not dined on site, that's not only environmentally difficult.

Corona protective measures are not followed or not sufficiently implemented. There is no minimum distance to the customers. The boss served with the mouth and nose protection pulled down. Not a too safe place in Munich!

Very mediocre

I can definitely share a positive experience about the Thali they serve! Well-spiced and tasty. Atmosphere at the outside seating arrangement (sidewalk terrasse) is also fine.

The best chai in town! There are vegetarian dishes! AND they also taste very good to a non-vegetarian! ! The service is excellent! The ambience is beautiful; really INDIAN! We like to eat there regularly! Even my mother gets everything she is there and she is highly allergic! !

Very nice Indian with outdoor seats (street). Menu quite extensive, dishes delicious. Standards such as "3 sauces in advance + small papadam" and "after the meal mango liqueur" take place. Service pretty quick and attentive. Prices still ok for Munich standards (main courses around € 15, Lachsan Kulcha (like garlic Naan only without yeast) € 3.50, beer just under € 4).

A very nice and pleasant restaurant with a large selection on the menu and really tasty dishes - and at a price that is still acceptable for Munich standards. The atmosphere is good, the service friendly - actually five stars. But the service is a little taciturn (Indian?) And the toilets are undoubtedly clean and completely in order - but could be spruced up a bit.

Best Indian in Munich. Good price u. Performance ratio. Service = crazy cool group. Always with a lot of humor. Really great. To recommend after the meal the Indian rum "Old Monk". The tram station "Wörthstraße" is right in front of the restaurant. So save everything in terms of driving license! If Indian, then go to Satluj.

I am a fan of authentic cuisine. After the restaurant was recommended to me by Indian colleagues, I tested it and was thrilled. The unbelieving Indian food was generally spicy was refuted, I ordered it as spicy food and got spicy and spicy. The ambience is as Indian as the European expects, but not over the top. Great atmosphere and great authentic Indian food!

Very tasty and the waitresses are super friendly. The food may take a little longer if there is a lot going on, but it is worth it because everything is freshly made!

Tasty Indian cuisine with fair prices and friendly service

The Indian restaurant Satluj in the local mile in the Wörthstraße near Bordeaux Platz is an excellent dining place. You can sit inside and outside. The service is attentive, fast and courteous. Highly recommended chicken with spinach. If you want a lunch menu can also come by. A seat reservation is usually not necessary. Therefore, clear recommendation: who is nearby try it out. LG Tjf63

Really fat meal. The vegetables were really overcooked in a oil, butter soup. No Taste, ah yes, one: fat! Never again

Nice indian restaurant with many rooms and space. also the menu looks nice. I went for a thali dish which was a good choice. We went there on a friday evening without reservation with 2 people and found easily a space. I would go there again

The food was really great. I specifically ordered vegetarian and my friend tried non-vegetarian. It was delicious. 4 stars just because the people came a bit late to take the first order. Otherwise, everything was great.

I have tried a Tag Mahal indian restaurent before and it was awesome but this one compared to Tag Mahal, which I have tried before, ist not so good and the food was so hot and spicy so one can not taste the real taste of the meal.

I read alot of wired comments but I really loved this restaurant it’s the best Indain food I’ve tried in my life, plus they are fast! I will definitely come back again! Thanks

Nice food, friendly staff

Really unauthentic tasting dishes. We ordered chicken Tikka masala, Jalfrezi, and chicken chili, it all tasted the same! Really bland and boring taste. That is unacceptable. Went to the place about 4 years ago and it seems the new chefs are terrible.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. The place looks comfy and cozy in a calm neighborhood. But I am already done talking about the positives about this place. The waiter gave us a piece of paper torn out of frustration, a pen that wont work, asked us to write down our own order and then hand it over at the reception ourselves when we were done. No I am not kidding. This really did happen. Mind you we were 14 people and spent more than 20 euros per head. Then came the wait. 45 minutes of no one bothering to ask us if we even needed water to drink. The place wasn't even crowded that night. 3 other tables with guests. The chicken soup came 15 minutes after the main dish and was placed right next to a vegetarian because the waiter couldn't be bothered to walk a few extra steps and place it next to the person that ordered it. Even if you were forced to eat here, don't order the Briyani unless you want to know what tomato rice tastes like without salt.

One of the only Indian restaurants in Munich run by Indians and serving authentic Indian food. Nice outdoor seating for the summer. My personal favourite is the lamb curry, okra, garlic naan and mango lassi. Friendly service, but be willing to pay for location. If you desire true spice ask for it.
